Few things can cause more damage than improper power washing or pressure washing (same thing).
In most cases, using a medium amount of PSI (about 1,500 PSI) and the proper chemicals makes is all that is necessary for painting a home.
Unfortunately, many contractors use little or no chemicals but rather rely on high pressure. Our philosophy is to let the chemicals do the work.

Applying a second coat of paint usually adds about 30-35% to the total cost of the job. It is a wise investment considering it can extend the paint job’s life by five years.
A single coat of paint may suffice for exterior surfaces. These include areas shielded from direct sunlight and rain, such as soffits and the interior of a screen porch.
Don’t Play Around With Mother Nature
We are often asked what season is best for exterior painting. It depends on the temperature. Most manufacturers like the temperature to be lower than 90 degrees and above the mid-’30s for at least 24 hours. If paint freezes before it fully dries, it can lose its ability to cure fully.
Also, if it rains shortly after painting, the rain can seep through the paint, causing bubbles.
